2025 Annual General Meeting

On October 22, 2025, Progressive Housing Society held its 43rd Annual General Meeting virtually on Zoom. Board members, staff, community partners, and supporters joined together to reflect on another year of impact and service in Burnaby and the surrounding region.

The meeting reviewed highlights from the past year, including achievements across housing, shelter, and mental health programs. More than 27,000 overnight stays were provided across our shelter programs, along with continued outreach and housing support for individuals experiencing homelessness. Through collaboration with health and community partners, clients gained access to medical care, harm reduction services, and pathways to permanent housing.

Board President James Caspersen shared reflections on a year that brought both challenges and important accomplishments. He expressed appreciation for the staff team’s commitment to compassion, integrity, and community, noting their ongoing dedication to providing care and stability to those who need it most.

The AGM also celebrated milestones such as the progress on the redevelopment of Holly House and the continued strength of partnerships that make this work possible. Across all programs, Progressive Housing Society remained focused on creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can find stability, connection, and hope.

We extend sincere thanks to our Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, funders, and partners for their contributions throughout the year.
