We are thrilled to share the incredible support we’ve received through the BC Hydro Employee Giving Campaign! This year, employees from BC Hydro’s Edmonds office in Burnaby came together with compassion and purpose, dedicating their lunch breaks to pack travel-sized hygiene kits for individuals in need. These kits, supplied by Kits for a Cause, are a wonderful testament to the power of teamwork and community spirit.
Each thoughtfully assembled kit contains essential items designed to provide dignity and care, including one shampoo, one conditioner, one body wash, one lotion, one toothbrush, one toothpaste, one shave kit, one lip balm, one hand sanitizer, one pocket comb, one pack of tissues, one washcloth, and a heartfelt message of hope notecard. These kits are more than just supplies—they’re a reminder to recipients that they are valued and supported.
By choosing Progressive Housing Society as the recipient of these kits, BC Hydro employees ensured that their efforts would directly benefit the Burnaby community, helping individuals and families who rely on our support services.
We are deeply grateful to BC Hydro and every Edmonds office employee who generously contributed their time and energy. Their efforts provided more than just essential supplies—they demonstrated how impactful community collaboration can be in strengthening local bonds.
