- 1 diced onion
- 1 can (10 oz/284 mL) cream corn
- 1 peeled, diced potato
- 1 can (10 oz/284 mL) cream of celery soup
- 1 cup (4.5 oz/125 mL) of skim milk powder mixed with 2 cups (500 mL) of water
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) of salt
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) of oregano
- Pinch of black pepper
Combine all ingredients into a large pot on the stove. Bring everything to a boil and then reduce the heat. Stir occasionally and allow soup to simmer until the potato is tender. This recipe will serve 4 people. You can adjust the recipe to a simple potato soap by leaving out the cream corn. The recipe can also be changed up by substituting in another vegetable, like broccoli, for a nice change.
