Italian Minestrone Recipe
This Italian Minestrone is a good hearty soup and can be served with some toast, cheese, and milk.
Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz/398 mL) of stewed tomatoes
- 1 can (14 oz/398 mL) of kidney beans or canned brown beans
- 1 can (14 oz/398 mL) of vegetable soup
- 1 cup (8.4 oz/250 mL) elbow macaroni
- 1 cup (8.4 oz/250 mL) shredded cabbage
- 1 tsp (0.2 oz/ 5 mL) of Oregano
- 1/2 tsp (0.1 oz/2 mL) of Basil
Combine the above ingredients into a large pot on the stove. Add 2 cups (17 oz/500 mL) of water and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until the past is tender.
