This year we had the great pleasure to participate in the Burnaby Board of Trade Business Showcase. The Business Showcase is an opportunity for local businesses of all sizes and all sectors to highlight and promote their businesses, discover new services and products in the community, and connect with hundreds of attendees. The event also hosts three breakout seminars lead by members of the Burnaby Board of Trade community. The Showcase is open to the public and all members of the business community, this free-to-attend event is the a wonderful chance to meet and learn about businesses that serve the Burnaby community.
Our Experience at the Business Showcase
The event this year had a huge turnout with lots of people attending. The day moved quickly with lots of laughter and smiling faces. It was a real pleasure for our staff to connect with members of other organizations as well as the public. We got a lot of really great information. We were also happy to inform and elaborate on what services we provide and how our organization serves the City of Burnaby.
We tried to contribute a little fun to the event as well by doing a give-away at our table. We had a big beautiful basket with two bottles of wine and a huge back of mixed Lindor chocolates. People just needed to drop in a business card for entry and we chose a winner after the event was over. Congratulations goes to Pat Little who won our fantastic give-away!
